Bio
Ryan Petitjean is a singer/songwriter from Teesside, North East England. Initially he started singing as a passion, initially releasing an EP of Covers in 2018. Followed by Someone You Loved shortly after. These have now amassed over 3 million online streams and after finding success with these initial releases he began to write & record his first original tracks.
In 2022, he released his debut single Criminal, an 80's inspired pop-track which details the honeymoon phase of a relationship and uses a metaphor to showcase his desire to be his authentic self despite what the societal norms are. His 2nd single OBSESSED ft Sam Readman - takes a more direct approach in addressing the complex emotions that come with a growing relationship, the track leans into a pop-rock sound and after release was playlisted by BBC Introducing and included in local music magazines.
Since then he has been working on his upcoming debut EP, with his most recent release, the brooding pop-anthem 'HEARTLESS' being the third track
In 2024, he participated in and won the Music Meets Tourism, an international singing competition in Spain. He has been writing and recording tracks from his upcoming debut EP, which is due to be released in the coming months and announced imminently.
